BOLZANO – Q36.5 is not just about super technical and sophisticated clothing. The Bolzano-based company is stepping up its game and further expanding its footwear range.
They are born the Gregarius (in the Road and Adventure versions, the latter dedicated to gravel), are positioned below the Unique Pro, but they don't lose sight of the focus on thermoregulation and comfortLet's delve into the specifics of the Roads.
Philosophy Q36.5
Expanding the footwear category also means going to touch a different category of users, that's where it goes Q36.5 with the new GregariusThey are defined as more democratic than the Unique Pro ones officially launched during the warm season, and are less expensive than the latter. In any case, they are a highly technical product, non entry level by concept and not economic in the strict sense. The list price is 300 euros.
Gregarius recovers at 100% the philosophy of Q36.5, which wants comfort and thermoregulation optimal at the top of the value scale. They inherit some of the technical features from the Dottore and Clima ranges.
A blend of solutions
Design, shapes and research into materials perfectly match in a shoe that aims to become a reference for cyclists who want a modern, functional, but not extreme shoe. We start from the shape, which is rather large in the front section (DNA Q36.5) for comfort and a fit that leaves the toes completely free. The upper is made of an open mesh microfibre, on the sides and on the toe, as well as a more compact and resistant fabric for the tongue, throughout the perimeter section and behind. This fabric has a high resistance, ensures longevity and support, and also allows for fully integrate the heel cup.
The locking system is delegated to the double Boa rotor with direct cable pull. The upper cable is supported by a loop that acts as a guide for the cable itself. Another detail not to be overlooked is the internal insole with a significant medial lift to support the plantar area. It is developed in collaboration with SolestarThe available sizes range from 37 to 48 and for weight lovers, size 42 is declared at 250 grams.
