Another excellent Italian company, Rule, is based in Frabosa Sottana in the province of Cuneo and is pushing ahead with innovative products. Rule components is a brand directly linked to Regolabikes.
Rule yes focuses more on the components, riding the philosophy of innovation that has become part of the DNA of the bicycle. The two main products (to date) of the Rule range, the 3D saddle and handlebar tape, although it should be emphasized that the brand has a complete catalog of components.

Rule 3D Carbon
It is a high-end short saddle, with the body and the two carbon tubes, with a 3D cover in a single block (three different support zones). In terms of numbers it is 246 mm long and 145 mm wide, while the value declared on the scale is 156 grams. Light, but not extreme, an indication of the saddle's robustness which tends towards a rather transversal use, including road, triathlon, and even time trial bikes. One could also venture into gravel racing, or in any case where weight plays a key role.
The 3D cover is the heart of the saddleIn addition to the polymer's processing, the design and open slots also come into play, factors that collectively allow for adjustment of density and support. A dense weave is found at the tip and center, while the interwoven materials at the sides and back allow for larger breathing spaces. Added to this is the wide central drainage channel. The price is very competitive, 299 euros list price.

Rule Pro tape enriched with EVA
Handlebar tape is obtained with a combination of polyurethane (PU) and EVA, it is very resistant, easy to clean and a sort of waterproof, equipped with a high grip. Its thickness of 3 mm makes it fall into that category of handlebar tapes dedicated to those who he doesn't want to lose the feeling with the handlebars, but at the same time requires a minimum of comfort.
Has a declared weight of 29 gramsIt's very soft and easy to mount on the handlebar. It adapts perfectly to various shapes. The two end caps are very nice; they're made of super-resistant material and have a small central Allen screw for fastening. The list price is 40 euros.

It all starts with passion
«We are the first users of our products Nicola Percivaldi, founding partner of Rule Components-NDR, explains, "trying to consider market trends and also observing competitors. Especially for the saddle, the process to get to actual production was a long one, and involved a series of bench and field tests."
«The 3D Carbon – concludes Percivaldi – has a markedly racing orientation, which in many ways is an integral part of Rule Components' DNA. Last but not least, the concept that distinguishes every Rule product, namely high quality and technology, prices below the category average».
