Spanish brand MMR Bikes has decided to take a further step forward in its offering of bicycles dedicated to gravel enthusiasts. Here comes a new model for lovers of this discipline: the Simun. A bike designed and built with the aim of providing the right means to overcome every limit in terms of performance, design and efficiency. Simun is the project of MMR Bikes which best demonstrates the work and study related to engineering applied to gravel, in order to combine adventure and performance.

Those who pedal and choose gravel do not do so only with the intention of discovering new territories and routes. Behind the exploration and the desire to travel there is also the search for increasingly high-performance means, because no obstacle should come between us and our desire to pedal.

New horizons

The Simun's design features a more aggressive and performance-oriented geometry. At the base there is a frame that has been conceived and developed in order to give the most demanding cyclists a more reactive and aerodynamic ride. The user's riding position has been revised and optimized with the aim of increasing speed without sacrificing comfort. This is a feature that has always distinguished the models of MMR Bikes. When designing the Simun, particular attention was also paid to stability.: a fundamental element in off-road and in competitions related to this discipline.

The frame configuration combines cutting-edge carbon, featuring great lightness, and optimally calibrated stiffness. This allows cyclists to maintain a high pace with less effort, while maintaining vibration absorption.

Safe and technical

Internal cable routing has become increasingly popular in gravel riding too, and the Simun is no exception. In fact, the cable passage is convenient, and does not take up space in the storage system, fully integrated into the down tube, in which to store essential spare parts to take with you on a ride.

One of the technical innovations to be highlighted is related to the safety systems, MMR BIkes offers the possibility of 3D printing the dedicated support for the AirTag. It is a device that allows the cyclist to track the position of the bike.

The Spanish company has created three versions for the Simun model. At the base there is always the G3 Carbon Concept FrameIt's possible to mount SRAM's dedicated gravel groupset: Red XPLR E1 T-Type with a 42-tooth single chainring. While if you choose the Shimano GRX setup, present on the other two versions of the Simun, you switch to a double chainring.

The retail price starts from 2.779 euros for the version called Montaggio 50, going up to 5.049 euros for the Montaggio 10. Finally, for the top of the range version, Montaggio 00, the price is 7.399 euros.

The MMR range of bicycles is distributed in Italy by the Fina Bike sales company.
