Details are what make the difference when the margin between victory and defeat is a few seconds, sometimes even hundredths of a second. Ridley wanted to optimize all the details and components of the new Triton Fast, one of the fundamental steps in this process was the wind tunnel study. Not only that, the technicians wanted to independently test every detail: from the shapes of the tubes to the cockpit profile, up to the pack and nutrition integration system.
Even the scales want their share, in fact the Triton Fast sets new and revolutionary standards in terms of weightThe frameset, that is, the frame and fork together, save a good 325 grams compared to other competitors. A fact that leads to significant optimization in terms of energy expenditure by the user in long distance competitions.
Specific for triathlon
The Triton Fast introduces, among other innovations, a geometry specifically for triathlon where the athlete is closer to the bottom bracket, which allows it to have maximum power transmission and greater stability. One of the novelties is the positioning of the flip chips in the fork, which allow you to change the bike setup based on the route and the user's preferences.
The handlebar, on the other hand, is made with the innovative mono-riser system which guarantees millimetric adjustment for both geometry and angles. This makes it easier to find the perfect position and guarantees an aerodynamic advantage.
Another new feature from Ridley is the hydration system, which passes through the frame via a tunnel, so the athlete can drink without changing the aerodynamic position. Additionally, Ridley offers a modular storage system with packs strategically integrated into the frame.
