Lazer is launching a very interesting new device on the market today. It's called VeloVox, attaches to the helmet strap and allows you to listen or speak with maximum comfort and safety. You can listen to your favorite music (or podcasts), but also receive phone calls and even communicate with your companions. All this leaving your ears free to travel better and safely, in the streets.
Developed with Cardo, for cyclists of all levels
The new device was developed with Thistle, a leading company in wireless communications, specializing in the motorcycle sector. But Velovox is specifically designed for cyclists, whether amateurs or competitors. As mentioned allows you to communicate with other athletes (up to 30), such as those of the same team, so that race strategies can be communicated live.
Or, more simply, it is the ideal tool for listening to music or making and receiving calls without using headphones (which, we remind you, are prohibited by the Highway Code). VeloVox is made up of two parts, a left and a right audio device, which attach easily and securely to the helmet straps.
Each of the two units (equipped with a two-button interface) has a specific function. The left one manages group communications, while the right one is responsible for music playback and calls.
Integration with Shimano Di2
Another very interesting feature of VeloVox is the possibility of be associated with Shimano Di2 groupsetsThis even more practical mode allows you to controllare the device directly from the bike controls, that is, without taking your hands off the handlebars.
Furthermore, the system created by the collaboration between Lazer and Cardo It has been designed to eliminate background noise, first of all the always very annoying one of the wind. In this way both the incoming sound and the voice on the microphone will always be clear and clean (shortness of breath excluded, but that's another story).

Lazer announces that VeloVox has remarkable battery life, up to 11 hours. Furthermore, it can be used in all weather conditions, thanks to the IP54 certification for water resistance, with a 2-year warranty. The weight is also very interesting: less than 40 grams in total (19 grams per side). VeloVox is available from today on the official Lazer website and at all authorized retailers.
