Emilia Romagna is a precious corner of Italian tradition. It's impossible not to think of the piadina which also has many versions that follow one another along the Via Emilia from Rimini to Piacenza. The same comparison applies to the wines with the Sangiovese typologies that characterize the hills and the menus of all the trattorias and restaurants.

Medieval beauty
located in Gypsum Vein Regional Park, Brisighella it is one of the first countries you come across in direction Florence from Faenza. On the three peaks that rise above the village, there are the Clock Tower, the Rocca Manfrediana and the Monticino Sanctuary.
«Brisighella for me – says Cassani – it is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. With its medieval aura and characteristic features such as the suggestive “Donkey Street” represents a the jewel in the crown of this territory. Besides this, it is a cyclist's paradise. From here, many climbs and cycling routes begin, both on and off the road. It's just a few kilometers from my home in Faenza.
«The stage is designed to develop in the second part, around the finish. With six climbs, starting from the Mazzolano, the first of two climbs at the 2020 Imola World Championship. To then continue on the Caibane, then Casale from both sides. To finish with the penultimate climb, Valletta, very tough with gradients between 15% and 20%. Finally Caibane again and I arrive after the descent. A breathless finale that could hurt, but also be fun."
